Stress and Your Subtle Bodies

Stress ManagementDid you know that stess and negative emotions such as anger, frustration, criticism anxiety and depression are caused by disruptions in the body’s flow of electro-magnetic energy? We are electro-magnetic beings. We have a north pole and a south pole clarified by a set of positive force centres and a set of negative force centres; so we are similar to a battery, and if one pole is out of balance – then the whole four-fold body system is also out of balance. Many forms of stress can be drastically reduced, simply by using techniques that balance the major force centers of the body. Ten minutes, three times a day is all you will need to achieve a state of lasting emotional balance.

Most people who have never practiced meditation, struggle to control their stress and thought processes. When things go wrong, instead of looking at the situation as the ancient peoples did, as an opportunity for growth and new experiences, people will automatically begin to think the worst. The negative thought process becomes a pattern that is then hard to break. As the thoughts whirl around in the mind ceaselessly, anxiety begins to build up and some begin to feel quite stressed or even depressed. Others begin to act in an angry manner or become critical of those close to them.

If the stress becomes prolonged, some will try to relieve it by artificial means such as smoking, drinking, overeating or some form of medication. These habits can become very unhealthy over a period of time; not only for the person indulging in them, but for those family members or friends who are closest to them.

If any of these things are happening to you right now, have you tried techniques to relax or release those unhealthy emotions such as exercise counseling or medication but not got all the results you hoped for? Some of these methods can produce temporary relief. But quite often the symptoms of stress and negative emotions come back again when you stop the therapy. They come back because the root cause has not been discovered and dealt with.

When you know the real cause of your negative emotions like stress, anxiety and frustration, you will be one step closer to letting them go consistently and feeling fit and healthy once more. You are primarily an emotional being, and because when some of these emotions have come up in the past, and because you didn’t like feeling like that, you probably pushed them right back down again. Now imagine what happens if you put some dirty washing in the clothesbasket. It falls to the bottom – not a problem.

You keep throwing more in and it gets a bit full, so you empty it and do the dirty washing. This keeps the clothesbasket free. But imagine what happens when you keep putting it in and don’t empty it – eventually it all spills over. This is what happens to your emotional body. Energy won’t be repressed. It will come up to the surface to be dealt with – cleared away. But if you keep pushing it down, eventually it will spill over and you’ll feel agitated and get angry and frustrated. If you keep pushing your anger and frustration down, you’ll end up having a panic attack because the energy is trapped; it can’t move. This is a signal from your subconscious self to look at what you are pushing down, acknowledge it, and deal with it. When an emotion comes up that you don’t want to deal with, realize that it is just a form of energy bringing something to your attention so you can deal with it and clear it. The easiest way to do this is to tell yourself that it is just a certain energy vibrating at a specific frequency that we call anger, or frustration and so on.

Stop what you are doing, and feel the energy. Where is it stuck in your body? Sit still and meditate on this feeling; feel it as intensely as you can; watch it. As you begin to focus on it, it will begin to change and feel smaller or not so intense, then it will start to move. Allow it to move down your body and out of your feet and into the earth. The earth will take this negatively charged energy and convert it to a more useful form. You will know if you have done this exercise correctly because when it moves out of your body, your feet will tingle. This will take approximately ten minutes to complete.

Relax then and imagine the sun has come down out of the sky and is gently filling your body up with soothing liquid light to restore the harmony. Then come back to normal consciousness, feeling wide awake, refreshed and alert. For more—visit us on Etsy.
